On February 27, 2025, Director Wang, the head of the China Center of the Fields Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Professor Francisco Javier Jiménez Blanes from the Engineering School of Miguel Hernández University (UHM), Assistant Professor Juan Carlos University (URJC), and their team visited Shanghai Yonzoe Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. and had in-depth discussions and exchanges with the Yonzoe's team on the cutting-edge technologies, application prospects, and cooperation between the two sides of artificial intelligence (AI) in intelligent ships, intelligent shipping, intelligent perception, etc.
The meeting was launched in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Yonzoe team demonstrated their technical accumulation and innovative ideas in the field of navigation radar, and the Spanish team also shared the research achievements and practical experience of the Engineering School of Miguel Hernández University in the field of AI and related AI technologies.
Subsequently, the Spanish professor team visited the display area of Yonzoe's research and development achievements, and highly praised Yonzoe's innovative achievements in shipborne radar. Yonzoe completely relied on its own R&D strength, broke through multiple technologies such as radar antennas, microwave transceivers, radar signal processing, and target recognition and tracking algorithms, and successfully developed a full series of S and X-band shipborne navigation, water area warning, and marine remote sensing radar products. The navigation radar can demonstrate high performance in complex sea conditions which left a deep impression on the Spanish team. The Spanish team proposed the idea of using data sharing and leveraging AI deep learning technology to improve target detection and recognition capabilities, providing more reliable and forward-looking support for ship navigation decisions.
Both sides expressed that through this in-depth exchange, it was not only a technical collision but also a good beginning of international cooperation, broadening the technical horizons and laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
