Compared with the AIS system of the automatic collision avoidance system, the radar independent detection does not depend on the working condition of the target's AIS system, especially for some ships that intentionally shut down the AIS and engage in illegal activities, the radar is more reliable for this part of supervision.

Therefore, the integrated radar, CCTV and AIS multi-sensor target fusion tracking is undoubtedly a more reliable and safe shore-based surveillance and early warning detection scheme.
