On the morning of May 11, 2024, the 10000 ton ship "Innovation 5" of direct route to sea through the river, crossed the Yangtze River waters from the south bank of Yuzhong in the main city of Chongqing, with its destination at Luohuang Port. The special feature of this ship is that it is the first 10000 ton sea vessel capable of sailing directly to the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, with a total length of 130 meters and a width of 16 meters. For the traditional intermodal transportation of river and sea the first section is from Zhoushan to the middle reaches of the Yangtze River via sea vessels, and then remaining section is from that point to the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in the Sichuan Chongqing region via river vessels. It usually takes about 35 days; And for this direct route to sea by the river it only takes 15 days to reach Chongqing, saving 20 days compared to before. Setting aside the time cost, the reduction of transit, replacement and other processes directly saves the corresponding replacement costs. According to the calculations, the savings from this trip are around 110000 yuan.

The first sea freight ship to arrive in Chongqing was the British’vessel, Lichuan in 1898. Now, the arrival of our country's own 10000 ton cargo ship in Chongqing is of extraordinary significance. This successful maiden voyage not only strengthens the function and influence of Chongqing Port as a regional transportation hub, but also injects new vitality into promoting the construction of theNew Corridor of Western Land Sea  and the development of Chongqing Hub Port Industrial Park.

The "Innovation 5" vessel follows the strict regulations of the Maritime Safety by Administration and is equipped with two sets of high-end radar systems, demonstrating its high attention to navigation safety. Among them, one set comes from a foreign brand, while the other uses domestically produced radar - Yonzoe Radar, both of which work together to safeguard ships. During this voyage, Yonzoe Radar won widespread praise for its outstanding performance. Whether navigating through the complex and ever-changing coastal waters of China, and Yangtze River's golden waterway with the precise, or successfully challenging the Three Gorges Dam and reaching Chongqing, the Yonzoe Radar has demonstrated extraordinary performance stability and reliability. This not only verifies its top-notch technological level as a leading domestic radar brand, but also highlights its strength in terms of operational convenience, standing shoulder to shoulder with international first-line brands, marking that domestic radar technology has reached the international advanced level and is capable of shining brightly on the global navigation stage.

The excellent performance of Yonzoe radar indicates that it will play a key role in promoting the upgrading of river sea intermodal ship equipment, aiming to achieve full coverage of major domestic water systems, including the coastal, Yangtze River, the Pearl River, Xijiang River, Huangpu River, Beijing Hangzhou Canal and the future Pinglu Canal. In the long run, Yonzoe Radar will also represent Chinese brands and compete head-on with internationally renowned manufacturers such as those from Japan and the United States in the global marine radar market, striving to gain greater market share and international recognition.
