MS-10 uses the magnetic field characteristics of magnetic compass pointer, converts the pointer reading into electrical signal through magnetic induction element, outputs NMEA-0183 standard heading statement, and calculates the output of rot value, so that the magnetic compass that can only be identified by human eyes can be connected with radar, autopilot, repeater, AIS and other navigation equipment requiring bow information.
